BIO

The piano is where I really feel at home. Encouraged by my parents at the age of 7, I took piano lessons up until the age of 18, when I left for Salford University to study a degree in Popular music and Recording in 2001.

I have an impressive CV when it comes to qualifications and experience on the piano. By the age of 16, I had achieved the top grade possible in Jazz Piano, Grade 8 distinction in Classical Piano. Not content with that, I gained a certificate in the ‘Guildhall School of Music and Drama for Performance’. This involved performing to a public audience for 40 minutes and was graded appropriately.

Again, I came out with top marks, accomplishing a Cert GSMD (P)  which only a small percentage of pianists have achieved. I continued the piano throughout University,  gaining a high 2:1 BA (Hons). Although I am classically trained, I specialised in Jazz at University and my natural ability enables me to perform many styles of music.

Lounge music can be a great addition to your wedding, hotel, or bar. Playing in the background, I can provide a perfect backdrop for your guests while they enjoy a drink with friends, a meal with loved ones or just relaxing after a hard day. With classic songs by Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington and many more, what better way to enjoy your event by listening to me play at your event.

I can play for any length of time to suit  your needs, whether it is for a wedding reception, or a restaurant. The styles are mixed to provide a variety of music from Jazz, Classical, Pop, Soul and Motown.

SOUND SYSTEM & TRANSPORT

I perform on a brand new Kawai ES4, worth £1,000 for any venue that does not have a piano. For larger venues, there is the option of adding the world-renowned EV speakers that I can play the music through, in order for everyone to be able to hear me. I have full insurance on all my equipment, including Public Liability Insurance. I dress extremely smart and will look 100% the part in your venue. Transport of the equipment and myself is covered by the AA in the unlikely event of problems.
